Mt. Scott mural

Embrace winter!

Saturday, November 5: “Waterslide Ride”
Come early and get stellar tacos at Stella Taco. We’ll leave at noon for a casual ride to the Mt. Scott pool, where the lap lanes are heated to 84 degrees, and the leisure pool — with 120 ft long water slide, current channel, vortex, and interactive play structure with spray features — is heated to 88 degrees. There’s also a whirlpool heated to 102 degrees. Hopefully it will rain!

Meet: 12pm – High noon – at Stella Taco (3060 SE Division St.)
Bring: Suit, towel, hot tea, dark chocolate, cash for tacos. If it’s cold and wet, wear quick-drying layers, avoid cotton, and bring a change for the ride home.
Cost: Pool admission is $5.50.
Skills: Got any skills you can bring to the party?
